Property Tax Reduction in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties?

Alameda county residents may be the first to see their property taxes reduced by the end of this year. Many more households are expected to follow. However, the result may be a negative impact for school districts and city and county governments. Here is the latest on this on-going scenario regarding a possible property tax reduction for some Tri-Valley homes and the surrounding area.

Wine Review: Concannon’s Tempranillo

Wow!!! I found a truly tasty wine. 

My wife and I and some friends were fortunate enough to tour and taste at Concannon Vineyard in Livermore recently.  We were one of their very first non-employees to get a full tour of their new facility (discussed in a future post).  It is truly amazing, and thanks to our tour leader and winery manager, Jim, we had such a fun time.  Jim was then kind enough to afford us a wonderful tasting session, where he introduced us to some new wines we had never tried, and even a new grape, tempranillo
